“Sissy Nelson is a mother to many; the family atmosphere of caring and guidance that she provides in everything she does is unlike any I have ever experienced. She is not only my employer and my mentor but she has taken my daughters and even my horse under her protective wing as well. I have never known anyone who wakes up every morning with a goal to help others like Sissy does. She takes pride in her students and sincerely loves to teach. I have learned so much as her apprentice but the one thing that can’t be taught is her uncanny innate sense, born of knowledge and vast experience, which allows her to evaluate both horse and rider, and then articulate so kindly what needs to be done to improve.
